Disciplinary Proceedings of Prison Service Officers in the Years 2020-2023.

Celem niniejszej pracy pt. „Postępowanie dyscyplinarne funkcjonariuszy Służby Więziennej w latach 2020-2023” jest przedstawienie zasad odpowiedzialności dyscyplinarnej funkcjonariuszy Służby Więziennej oraz analiza dynamiki postępowań dyscyplinarnych prowadzonych w tym okresie. W pracy omówiono podstawy prawne odpowiedzialności dyscyplinarnej, tryb prowadzenia postępowań, uczestników tych postępowań oraz typowe formy naruszeń dyscypliny służbowej. Część badawcza opiera się na analizie danych statystycznych pozyskanych z Centralnego Zarządu Służby Więziennej w latach 2020-2023. Zgromadzone dane wskazują na zmienność liczby postępowań w analizowanym okresie, w tym na spadek liczby spraw po 2021 roku. Praca ma charakter opisowo - analityczny i opiera się na metodzie analizy źródeł normatywnych oraz danych ilościowych.

The aim of this thesis, titled „Disciplinary Proceedings of Prison Service Officers in the Years 2020-2023”, is to present the principles of disciplinary resposibility of officers of the Polish Prison Service and to analyze the dynamics of discipllinary proceedings conducted during this period. The thesis discusses the legal basis for disciplinary responsibility, the procedure for conducting proceedings, the roles of participants involved,
and common types of disciplinary offenses. The research part is based on the analysis of statistical data obtained from the Central Board of the Prison Service for the years 2020-2023. The data show fluctuations in the number of proceedings over time, including a decrease in cases after 2021. The thesis is descriptive and analytical in nature and uses the method of analyzing legal sources and quantitative data.
