Niniejsza praca dyplomowa dotyczy użycia środków przymusu bezpośredniego jako elementu systemu bezpieczeństwa jednostki penitencjarnej. Autor w niniejszej pracy scharakteryzował Służbę Więzienną, przedstawił akty prawne które regulują działania Służby Więziennej oraz jakie inne służby współpracują z nią. Przedmiotem analizy było użycie środków przymusu bezpośredniego, w jakich sytuacjach można ich użyć oraz w jaki sposób oraz szkoleń związanych ze środkami przymusu bezpośredniego. Celem pracy i prowadzenia badań było określenie oddziaływania użycia środków przymusu bezpośredniego przez funkcjonariuszy Służby Więziennej na system bezpieczeństwa jednostki penitencjarnej. Do zrealizowanego celu pracy dyplomowej, autor przeprowadził badania na 36 funkcjonariuszy Służby Więziennej. Funkcjonariusze ci pełnili służbę w dziale ochrony. Autor wykonał badania w jednej jednostce okręgu inspektoratu Służby Więziennej w Lublinie, a dokładniej w Zakładzie Karnym w Hrubieszowie. Na podstawie wyników z kwestionariuszu ankiet respondentów stwierdzono, iż środki przymusu bezpośredniego oddziaływają na bezpieczeństwo jednostki penitencjarnej.

This dissertation concerns the use of means of direct coercion as part of the security system of the penitentiary unit. In this paper, the author characterizes the Prison Service, presents legal acts that regulate the activities of the Prison Service and what other services cooperate with it. The subject of the analysis was the use of means of direct coercion, in what situations they can be used and how and training related to means of direct conjecture. The aim of the work and research was to determine the impact of the use of means of direct coercion by the functionaries of the Prison Service on the security system of the penitentiary unit. To achieve the goal of the diploma thesis, the author conducted research on 36 officers of the Prison Service. These officers served in the security department. The author carried out research in one unit of the district inspectorate of the Prison Service in Lublin, and more specifically in the Penitentiary Institution in Hrubieszów. Based on the results of questionnaires of respondents, it was found that direct coercive measures affect the safety of the penitentiary unit.
